gsl/gsl-se brake calipers same?

i have an 85 gsl. can i use gsl-se calipers, mounting brackets and rotors on my stock gsl components? i understand all 84-85 models regardless of -se or non-se use the larger spindle, so is it just the wheel bearing that's different? or do i need to find non-se calipers

while im on this topic, what about pre-84 calipers . will they work on my 85 gsl?

The SE rotors, calipers and mounts will bolt right up to non-SE 84-85 spindles. The bearings are the same and the spindles are the same for all 84-85 cars.

All 81-85 12A calipers are the same.

Heres a good page for refference.....

The *front* stuff is interchangeable as a set on '84-85 cars. (you can't use -SE calipers on 12A rotors and vice versa). Of course you'll need different wheels too.

In the rear you need to change axles along with the rotors and calipers/backing plates. It's usually cheaper and easier to just get the whole mess from a junkyard, although replacing the calipers and rotors would be a good idea.
