GReddy Emanage on a GSL-SE?
Hello all,
I'm toying with the idea of supercharging my SE but I don't want to get into finding/saving money for/buying/wiring a stand alone engine management computer. I have an older blue GReddy EManage sitting on my shelf from another car that I could use to control additional fueling under boost, but I'm not sure if it will do timing with the GSL-SE ECU and ignition system. Has anyone ever attempted to use this unit to control timing (advance/retard) with a stock GSL-SE ignition and ECU? BTW, I searched but didn't find any answers to my question.
I'm also considering using an FC runner section (the middle part of the intake manifold, I don't know the proper name) to take advantage of the provisions for the 3rd and 4th injectors. Will this manifold bolt up to the GSL-SE Lower intake manifold (the part that houses the 5th & 6th port actuators) or do I need to use the FC lower intake manifold as well?
Thanks for the help!

love the braaaap
Well, first off, the ECU on a GSL-SE doesn't control the ignition timing. In that aspect, its just like the carb'd 1st gens. It uses a regular distributor with both vacuum and mechanical advance. Actually, I believe the distributor is the same one found on 12A engines. The only two things the ECU controls on the GSL-SE are the fuel and emissions controls.
