They're good tires dude. I know someone that runs them on 13's on a ITA 7, and he says you dont cord them if you slam on the brakes like hoosiers do. What he explained is they'll hold great until you push it too far and then you've lost it, where hoosiers you can control it. This is reguarding to that tire when its shaved new though. They do have good water tread compared to sumitomo's I believe. They also do the good burn outs haha.

Post it back when you find out how they perform, I say them on a friends new Audi and they looked nice on it, but I don't know how they do on the street.

I new set of Sumitomo Srixon 4's came on my SE...know anything about them

Where did you get them and how much per tire?

I'm looking at getting the Yokohama Avid ES100's in 225/45/16 rear and 205/45/16 front. (or maybe 205 front and rear).

What made you go with the Kumho's?

Got them from tire rack, all 4 for $199 shipped to my door.

Ive had good experience from kumho in the past, not that their better then the yoko's that are on my car now (well not when the yoko's where new anyway) but they are alot cheaper and the road noise is usally kick *** on the kumho's (very quite).

But if I had the extra cash I would be all for the Yoko's or the nice kumho's
The 712
They werent much more but I am selling my car so im trying to save a penny here and there.

If I was keeping the car I wouldnt settle for anything less then the Yokohama AVS ES100

For all out dry performance at the sacrifice of wet performance check out the kumho VictoRacer V700 / Ecsta V700

and then of course there is the A032R

i run 711s out at autocross. i placed 3 seconds off the leader of my class( a supercharged integra type r) and he was running the V710.

for the price i love them...but if i want to whoop some *** in my class i'll have to bump up to an R compound.

I run Kumhos on my car. They work well on the street (IMO). Not bad for the price.
