i just got my front cover back form the machine shop. they did one hell of a job adding my turbo oil return line. check it out.
it looks damn near stock
soon i can drop my motor in and start working on all the wires.. im hoping to get this thing running again with in a month that would be nice.

Nice job. I like the way you are going to be able to mount like a stock turbo drain. I never would have thought to do it that way.
My cover doesn't have metal formed the way yours does, was that welded on or something?

It should just be drilled out and tapped, then thread in the oil fitting.
so i guess the guy thought i wanted it to replicate the other front cover and thats what he did. i like it this way.

yes it was welded on. that front cover looked just as yours dose, the guy added metal, and added the screw holes, then just drilled out the center main hole.

Is the stock t2 oil return line threaded into the front cover? I have a gslse front cover, all I have to do is drill out the hole and tap it, then screw in the oil return line from the t2 correct? I can post a pic of the gslse front cover if anyone is interested.

no its not threaded. it has a flange the uses 2 12mm screws that hold it on with a small gasket. see the big hole and the 2 smaller holes above and below it? those are the screwholes that hold the flange on.
if you were to drill and tap the big hole you would have to make a new oil return line as well to fit that hole.
