Got MSD Blaster 2's today, question

Do I need ballast resistors to hook them upto my stock ignition system?

awesome thanks, I was just wondering this because it says I need them for a stock ignition in the installation instructions i got with them...

you only need to use the ballast resistors with a points type distributor, not with an electronic one.

ya I noticed that, the second time i went over the instructions there thanks lots. I doubt the coils will make a big difference but im going to mount them vertically when my Respeed coil mount comes. Hopefully I can find a spot to mount them that is tasteful

I have an MSD 6AL available if you want it too... I'm going with 2nd gen leading coil for now
