Good News!!!! Thank You People!!!!!
Well, I found one of the problems, that was makin it stall...... I let my friend put the fuel pump, and filter on, well appearently he put it on, with the flow, goin the wrong way My brother found that..... Then the pump, wasnt giving out enough....... So, the old, pump I had, I gave to my brother, he fixed it.. it had a built in filter, clogged up.... well, anyways, it found its way back to the car........ WORKS WONDERFULLY.............. Now, the dry rotted, rock hard tires, were spinning BAD....... So, my brother, gave me some belt stuff, that softens rubber, and stops belts from squeking..... Well, I sprayed it on the tires, suface, and sidwalls........ Went to test it, did a sucky burnout, got up to speed powershifted to second, and usually it burns the tires, this time, the engine reved, but the car didnt get any fast......... YEPPERS, the clutch is slipping........ And smoke comes out the little pipe, next to the muffler, which means the thermal reactor, is collapsed......... Well, I have to get MORE break fluid, cause the stuff I put in there, once a week, and bleed them.... well the fluid is gone after some driving... and BARELY WORKS... And only the FRONT breaks work very little then.... the go to the floor, and lock up....... Maybe because, I didnt spray the softener on the front tires... hmmm...... gonna go do that....... So, I am down to clutch, tires, exaust, and breaks...... So, if mar3, hasnt been kind enough, to get me a thermal reactor yet, then I am looking into getting a performance exhaust......... and clutch...... and hawks break pads...... and some cheap tires....... Then, the rest is cosmetic......... Now, my brother, that hardly visites, says KEEP the car....... In other word, he likes it...... means a lot coming from him....
Life is GOOOD
Oh, and the breaks, I cant find the leak......... any advise on any of this? I have been down shifting to second, and easing off the clutch, in "emergencies only" type of situations, cause, I think it burns the clutch..... I use the e-brake most of the times........
Any advise on anything is appreciated......
I THANK ALL OF YOUR, FOR NOT GIVING UP ON ME< WHEN I WAS READY TO GIVE UP........Maybe you all did give up on me, and not the car lol..... either way, THANX
LATERZ, Andrew

If you're loosing fluid, there's GOTTA be a leak somewhere...
Pull the calipers off and check the dust boot. Ditto if you have drums... Check the wheel cylinder dust boots. Minor wetness behind the boots is okay.. but if it flows out, you've got issues.
Pull the vacuum hose from your booster. (It's the round thing behind your master cylinder. It helps you amplify your brake force with engine vacuum/air pressure.) Check for brake fluid...
If the Master cylinder or booster are dead, swap them as a set. Usually they come bolted together... It makes sure you don't have to adjust teh pushrod... Otherwise, there could be play in your brake system or teh brake master cylinder could be pushed in a bit all the time, holding your brakes on.
While the master cylinder and brake booster set are somewhat expensive at a few hundred dollars, the calipers, for a 12A car are suprisingly cheap.
Double check that some idiot hasn't put the wrong fluid in your master... Take a CLEAN turkey baster and suck some brake fluid form your resivour... Couple ounces should do. Dump it in a cup of water... Any petroleum based fluids will float.. The brake fluid should dissapate.
Brake fluid is hydroscopic.. meaning it absorbs water. It has to to get it out of the system... What would happen if you had a bit of water in your caliper and hit the brakes, boiling the water... The water would turn to steam, a gas which you can compress and you'd get major brake fade... Over time, the brake fluid absorbs enough water and boils when you brake hard.. Hence brake fade... Flush your system occasionally. Suck all teh fluid out of the resivour witha CLEAN turkey baster and fill it with new... Bleed the brakes all the way around till clena fluid comes out... No more water...
If there's foreign fluid in the system, you may have problems... Petroleum causes rubber to swell up.. Any seals will be messed up...
At my shop they ahd an Isuzu Rodeo come in with shot brakes... What happened was Jiffy Lube put clear power steering fluid into the brake resivour because they are right next to each other. The oil based fluid messed up the rubber... $300 master cylinder replacement and a flush.. Luckily it didnt get into the calipers or wheel cylinders... Now you know why I emphasized a CLEAN turkey baster...
Sorry that was so long.. but it's all good info to know.

I would check the brake master cylinder first. I checked on ebay and there are lots of master cylinders for 7s (at least when I checked) for around $30. I wouldnt drive in traffic (or at all) without strong brakes man. Be careful. Its just so tepmting to take the thing for a spin isnt it? Well we dont want you dead, so be careful. I dont know if a manifold from an 85 fits a 79 or an 80, but if so, you can have mine. The cats too (not sure why you would want them unless you have emissions testing.) If I were you I would spend the $ on brakes and tires first. And if you are really pinched for $, when it comes to the clutch, you can sometimes just replace the disk for like $50 from autozone. (depending on how worn out the other clutch parts are).

Oh yes, I would love to ave an 81-85 manifold, and cats....... I want the cats, so I can gut them, and not have to go through makin a pipe, just yet...... Just tell me the shipping, and I will think about it oh, and if you need my zip xode, here it is.... 75061 THANX
Then, there goes the rats nest, and I would make an acv block off plate Damn, simplicity at last........

I am not worried about the clutch, or tires too much.. they will at least last, untill I can go to the jobI have lined up, in a week........ The brakes, are goin to be fixed tomarrow, if it is possible...... I have an 80, for parts, that I will yank off what I need, if it is absolutly neccisary.... as to, I want to restore that one to origanal......

I got burned by my parts store and then burned a couple of times by Alamo AutoSports trying to get some dyno time that never happened, so I never made it out to the junkyard. I'll hit it next Tuesday for sure. Are the wheel bolts recessed into the rims or are they exposed? If they're exposed, you can try the crap that some thieves did to my '68 Firebird. It had McGard's lugs, which are all keyed holding Centerlines on. They left the lugs,so I could see how they did it. They took a humongous vise grip and clamped onto the exposed lugs and then hammered each one off. The teeth marks were all over each lug. If they're recessed into the wheel, you're going to have to drill the centers of the bolt and use a big bit made for getting broken bolts out. Have fun!!

well, I have tried the vise grip things, about 2 weeks ago...... they are too far in..... The key part isnt on the inside, it is on the out side, but on the bottom, not close.... I cant explain it verywell......... Hey, dont worry about that thermal reactor..... If your gonna get anything, get me a 81-85 exaust manifold....... Wait, I hold that thought, yayarx7 is coming over this weekend, witha 83(I think) manifold......... So, if he doesnt, then I will be begging you to get me one..........

goin to play with my breaks........ Any thing else I should do while I am out there?
I think I need to set my carb again, because when I rev it, and let off to slow down, it back fires, like a stick of dynamight........
So, do I turn the mixture screw out, 2 and 1/2 of turns, or 3, and then set the idle, or what???? Timing is set with a light, off of #1 trailing...... Anything else I can do?? Thanx, laterz........

I seriously doubt if your thermal reactor is "collapsed". It sounds fine. It is normal to have smoke coming out of the small pipe next to the exhaust. I don't think there is anything in there to collapse. It's just cast iron. I would worry about your other problems first.
I don't understand why you would want to buy cats from someone, just to gut them? It's going to cost you just as much or more to ship them just so you can ruin them. Just have an exhaust shop make you a pipe to replace whatever you need. You do not have cats on your car currently by the way. If your heat exchanger is bad or leaking replace it with a straight pipe.
just my opinion,
hanman
