The next thing to check, then, is the compression per face. You can hold down the check valve on the compression tester and watch where the needle bounces on each rev. If it consistently bounces high, low, low then you have an apex seal problem (stuck, cracked, missing) but so far your compression looks great.

The needle bounced even all three passes on both rotors. Got the new cap, rotor, plugs, wires on. New coils a few days back. Ignition ruled out other than timing. Still vibrates at idle, and stumbles slightly when I hit the gas. Light bucking on the way down below three grand...no problems on the way up.

Oh, and I shot some carb cleaner down the carb...ton of white smoke the first couple shots. I let it clear, then hit it again....less and less smoke as I continued. Poured seafoam into the tank at about 3/4 full.
