Gauge malfunction

The Gas, alternator and oil pressure gauges turn on and off when ever they feel like it my 85 12A, like one time I will have the gas gauge work but the other 2 dont work , then they can all work then the oil and gas work then none or some times just the alternator dose any one have any info that could help me out?

Takes two to do it , but one watch and the other to jiggle wires and contacts. This is a great togetherness and check your childs attention span project.

Did this start recently? suddenly?

I'd maybe check the connectors at the back of the gauge cluster as a first thing....

i dont know i just bought the car and gout it runing a bout a month ago but i did look at the connectors at the back of the gauge cluster they seem to be ok its odd cause some times i can be driving and all that works out of the 3 is the volt then the oil kicks in
