A stock 13B with a Delltoro in a GSL-SE? I have an -SE, stock, and it has a Nikki EFI unit on it. Well, I'm guessing that you're system was converted to a carb?

I probably average about 23-24/hwy, probably about 17/city, tho.

But, I have an open air filter setup, Royal Purple synthetic fluids throughout engine, tranny, diff, and latest addition of the 2nd Gen leading coil setup.

I have a Dellorto on a stock port 12a with header, tuned exhaust from Rotary Engineering and I use the 2G coil for DFIS. On a recent400+ mile trip which was mostly interstate averaging 75 mph I saw 22 mpg. If I dropped that everage speed to 65 it would have been around 24. In city or fun driving I get around 17 mpg. I would expect the 13B to be very similiar.

i used to get 18 city and 25 highway on my old setup. that 25 was a bit elusive though and didn't come until i was able to get rid of the crappy exhaust i had and put on the RB system. i'm pretty sure i could have possibly scraped a little more if i had redone the ignition, too.

Yeah ... my car was converted by the previous owner ... I am getting horrid gas mileage ... the Carb is in pretty bad shape. I am thinking of trashing this one and just buying another. Some days I burn a quarter tank starting the car ... ugh!!!

Well, if I can get 22-24 mpg on the highway, with dual DCD carbs on a 1/2 bp 12A, I'd say it's time to rebuild your. Dell. Pm me if interested.

Go here and check out the jetting for a 13b www.gruntled.com/Dellorto.

Then make sure you have tuned the carb correctly.

Damn, you guys either need to learn how to tune or keep it off redline occasionally at least, lol.

I printed that out a while back and mine is setup exactly the same ... I am not sure about this fuel pump I have, its some type of high flow holley pump ... I am going to check to see if its high flow / high pressure ... if so its gotta go ...

The 3" exhaust on my 12a Lotus 7 clone exited quite near the passenger's right elbow. An awesome sight at night when you lifted off the gas. Almost crapped my pants the first time it happened. As for mileage .... you can't put a price on a good time.

I was looking at the carb and noticed that there are a few missing items ... also on the dizzy vacuum fittings neither are connected ... I guess I better take a look there also ... I know one of those vacuum lines stay disconnected, but then I am not sure where on the carb that line vac gets installed.
