i am ready to buy the O'2 sensor and the New Coolant temp sensor just need to know what the part number is for the 1984 rx-7 1100cc (base model) manual transmission with drum brakes. if you can help let me know because at checkers they have a lot of different parts that pops up and well if i just had the right part number that would help alot. thank you much DR.

WV update

Ok I just did 124 miles filled her up the exact same way and it took 5.4 gal. thats almost 23 mpg That said it is warmer now {ie the temp sensor closes faster less air/cu.vol. etc] so by changing the air filter,o'2 sensor, engine temp sensor, cleaning the plugs, ful synthetic oil, pumped tire pressure up to 44#, new oil filter it went to a rough idel 15 mpg to smooth strong 23 mpg I'm happy....for now.....the cats are next to go and that F@#%ing air pump that mocks me like a smug look from Al Gore

witch engine temp sensor are you talking about the air intake or the coolant if coolant its the one on the neck? right now I am getting about 18 to 18.8 mpg depending on how hard I drive I got a cone filter no air pump and RB full SP exhoust on the car I have cleaned the gas tank and the lines out from all the crap also replaced the rotor cap and wires to 10.8mm with some new plugs I guess the o2 sersor is next.
