Gas Mileage

I've seen other threads about gas mileage, but not about which increases and decreases it.

Intake increases gas mileage slighty. (correct?)
How about an exhaust like the Racing Beat exhaust system , does an exhaust system benefit or hurt you mpg?

I don't know for a fact, but if you consider the fact that you are increasing horsepower without increasing the amount of fuel used, then the engine is running more efficiently. Better efficiency should yield better gas milage.
