fusible links question
hey guys, i've been noticing that some of you are putting the fuse blocks from the Gen II cars into the Gen I cars to replace the fusible links.
i'd like to get with the times, too. is there anyone out there that can direct me to a wiring diagram and instructions on how to do it. i haven't got the Gen II fuse block yet (need a job ), but i'd like to start doing my homework from now so that i know what to do when the time comes.
thanks

Get the B2000 block from an 86 pickup if you don't need all the extra fuse ports. Its easier to locate on the fender wall. The new spade connectors are metric and you can't find them easily. Radio Shack part # 910-1343 will get the right ones. Mail order only. While doing this, add an extra ground wire to the frame and add an extra wire from the alt back to the battery. It gives a better current path.
