this is funny

i have a street ported 2nd gen and a 89 nissan sentra (beater) that i drive because my 7 has diariea and is shiting all over me

and i talked my friend in to buying a 1st gen because they are sweet it is a 12a auto (he cant drive a stick) bone stock

and we raced i had the nissan and i won buy about a car length

are the 12a motors that slow or is it just the auto i was thinking about geting a 12a but after that i dont know

if it's bone stock, hello...the car only has 105hp.....your nissan probably has more than that and isn't such a pig. I thing the auto has something to do with it as well....You can have a nice car if you have a man. 12a. There's plenty you can do under the hood for it if you just research it.

Did you just call first gens pigs?.... these are hella light cars, and i know for a fact its because its an auto, my first car was a 12a auto, when i did the 5 speed swap, my cars was almost twice as fast, as far as acceleration is concerned...

I test drove an auto after my 12a stick was totalled and the auto is definately a LOT slower.

my friend drags his camero auto and i think u start off in drive when it shifts to 2nd u go to low gear then wait then 3rd and then drive that way rpms stay higher

no Gregs...I wasn't referring to a 1st gen as a pig....My car would whoop my ***(but it's a stick, luckily)....I was saying the the nissan isn't a pig.....

fb's ran 17.2 stock. enough said... I think the auto ran a 18.0, and the GSLSE ran a 16.4 so no they are in no way a fast stock car. and ifits still stock it prolly pretty beat and tired. Prolly running 19's....

yeah i thought it was probably the auto because i have 45 psi in my 2nd gen (coolent seal) and its atleast twice as fast i just thought it was od that the beater took the 7

The torque converters on autos suck up alot of the power, IIRC.
