Fuel system for T2 swap
I have BS'd for too long and need to get the fuel system upgraded on my T2 swap. I have been running an SE pump through stock lines and it sucks. The engine has a large street port and Jet computer. I already know I'm using either an6 or 8 lines and a fuel cell. I need some ideas on a pump and pressure regulator. All help is appreciated.

JEBUS... those are awesome and quite expensive. if you are looking for anything over 450rwhp then yea get that pump. or if you dont mind splurging. it's amazing. i love aeromotive!!!! BUT.... if you would like a good pump for not so much $$$ just get a stock supra pump!
they flow the same, if not more, than the walbroh's!!! good for 400hp and very reliable WOOOOT!

Yea,I bought an Aeromotive orignally for my TII swap back in 01 and I couldnt believe the size of the thing. The pump is bigger than a Coke can.The friggin' filter is as big as a regular in-tank pump!
I run an FC fuel pump assembely in my cars stock tank. The TII pump can be easily upgraded with an FD or Cosmo pump.I run a SupraTT pump, which is good for 400hp.For the return I ran another FB feed line along side the stock feed line. The FC fuel filter is up front by the firewall on the stock FC bracket,so all the FB crap normally out back, is gone.Just 2 fuel lines to/from the tank, and a vapor line running up to the charcoal canister......Simple and easy.
The way I mounted it,while not easy, is by far the safest, quietest, most reliable method. The FC fuel pump assembly is exactly the same height as the FB fuel tank(later years).I cut the stock hole out to match the oval shape of the FC's tank, then had the stock FC slosh baffle and mounting ring welded into the FB tank.I also had the mounting ring for the FC vent welded in.It wasnt that expensive.I had a shop handle it,simply because it required some delicate welding.Only cost 175 bucks.
The hardest part was finding a shop willing to weld a gas tank. While I did thoroughly wash and rinse the tank, most machine shops wouldnt risk welding on a gas tank.I finally found a little radiator shop that would take it on.Had it done in 3 days and its been working perfectly for over 4 years.Nowadays I would have done it myself simply because Ive got some new welders and a lot more experience. But back then,I had no problem leaving it to a pro....
