Question fuel relay switch question

me thinks my fuel switch under dash is bad, so i ran a hot wire to pump and it works now,,,,question is , if i wanted to jumper the wires that go to the switch and bypass the relay, what wires do i jumper,,seems like there are 4-5 wires going to relay (if its the round metal looking thing, on steering wheel under dash,) what are the other wires for and should i jumper them also,,,,,,,,,,,i'm guessing color to color,,,thanks,,,,,

I would just run a new relay. All you would need is direct power from the battery, ground, and a signal to turn the relay on. I would check the Fuel pump fuse, if it still gets juice with the key on, then I would use that signal to turn on the new relay. Dont forget to run a fuse on that new power tap.
