Fuel pump wiring question

On the wires to the fuel pump, which wire is positive and which is negative? The Haynes manual isnt telling me and I cant follow it back as whole wiring harness is pretty much out of the car. I'm custom wiring in just what the car needs to run and be street legal. Ground will go to the nearest ground, positive will go to the front and have a flip switch to turn it on and off Theres a blue wire with a white stripe, and a black wire with red marks every inch or so. Anybody know for sure?

Use a DVM to be sure, probe each wire one at a time, while holding the other end of the meter to ground. I think its the black w/red dots is the ground.
