fuel pump mod question

i got a 84 se that im trying to install a fuel pump switch. anyone know where is a good location i can tap into? i dont know anything about 1st gens or where anythings located.

i dont work on many 1st gen's. do you guys know where the relay is?

the best place is behind the driver seat under the storage bin. there is a connector that has two prongs on it just tap in the the hot side of it run your wires and there you go. too bad the pump isnt in the tank like on the second gens but oh well you can always modify it.
