Fuel pump big enough?
I'm about to get and install a rebuilt Nikki carb. The carb has:
Primary ventury: .980 inch inside diameter
Primary fuel jet: #160
Primary air jet: stock size
Secondary Ventury: stock size
Secondary fuel jet: #190
Secondary air jet: stock size
I have a Purolator fuel pump, 2-3.5 psi, 1700 cc/hour. The pressure is basically stock, the volume is more than the 1400 cc of the stock pump. Will this pump be enough to keep the carb supplied with the fuel it will be able to consume, even at WOT? Engine has a RB size streetport.
