front springs question.

front springs question.

i just put in my racing beat front springs and tokico shocks. well when i drive the springs make a cranking sound. i know that its in right. but does it just have to set into place?

check rubber seat on the cap of the spring.
check the nut on the strut cap.
check ALL the nuts and bolts.

Did you put the rubber seats on the top of the springs?

Patience young Padiwan. Did you lube the mating surfaces where the springs seat and are you sure you have the thrust washers in the correct order. You may need to simply drive the car around for a bit so the new springs seat.

Your description is a bit vague to be able to provide you with a succinct answer.

yea the washers are in the correct order.
i think it might be because of the new shocks. they were stiff as hell haha.
well i guess ill go lubricate the mating surfaces.
