Sure you don't want to put some ATF in there?
(j/k)
Let the Power Foam sit in the motor as long as your patience will allow and then start it and drive it at highway speeds for at least an hour to be sure that the slot gets cleaned out real good. Make sure to buy a lottery ticket on the way home, you lucky...

Water doesn't do a damned bit of anything unless you're adding the water under full load.
I don't trust anything by Amsoil (Am Soil) because of their shady business practices. However, if you use any serious decarbonizer on a rotary you MUST follow it up with a lube bath (teaspoonish of ATF/MMO/motor oil just like unflooding) because it WILL wash away the oil embedded in the rotor housing surface and compression will go to **** for a little while. Found that out the hard way.

What would you consider a serious decarbonizer? I have reason to believe that my motor has some intense carbon and I've tried everything to try and get it clean, do you have any other products that might work.

Amsoil Power Foam or Techron concentrate.
I'm not fond of Amsoil's multi-level marketing, myself.
But I'd hardly call them shady, in fact they are about the most forthright company when it comes to information about their products. But I've been using Power Foam for about ten years now, and I can fully recommend it with no reservations.

Man I wish we had that stuff around here. As far as I can tell it's impossible to get anything really effective for clearing carbon up here in Canada, that and the lack of MMO is brutal.

have any of you read the thread about cleaning the carbon out with water. i personally have never done it but i don't think i have a big carbon build up problem. if all the recomended cleaning stuff is hard to find where you are then maybe you could try the water treatment.
