Question FMU or Fcon for GSL-SE?

hey guys, I am thinking of getting some boost on my car in the near future by means of a M-90 roots style S/C. My only worry is how the hell will the engine know when its running rich/lean and how can I tune it. I am wondering if there is a FMU or Fcon that would connect to the GSL-SE's ECU and would be adjustable . Hopefully someone out there can field this question or pick their brain and come up with a reasonable answer. thanks
Daryl

erg.. ok.. I now understand what an FMU (FPR) is. I laughed at my original question upon finding out what it specifically does. It is all mechanical, does not plug into the ECU, and just is a ratio of fuel/ vaccuum or boost. Fair enough. So that part is fine. My question remains now, will this be all I need to correctly tune the A/F ratio while running say 10lbs from the S/C? I am thinking that it is all I need, however I want to make sure.

You may have to go megasquirt (if you're on a budget). I have not heard much about the -se ecu being tunable.

what can you tell me about the megasquirt. I'd like to know as much info as I can before I actually do this. There has to be some single turbo SE's with the stock ECU.. isnt there? If those ppl are out there, what are you guys running?

The FMU is good for 6psi. Anymore, you will need someting more (standalone, additional inj...etc)

I have a haltec f-5 fuel controller for sale that i used
on my old turbo setup, i used it and the stock gsl-se computer, it made 230hp at the wheels with great
drivabilty , and really easy to tune. Its not even a year old, comes with the wireing harness, and its cheap!

nice.. paulo check your pm's
So what you are saying is I should set the S/C pulley so that I have a max of 6psi so as to not run lean. Correct?

no thats not what i am saying, I was saying i was able to tune my airfuel to 11.5:1 at 6lbs, you can tune it how ever you want. I only ran 6lbs for fear of blowing up a motor with near 100k on it.

cool.. so 11.5:1 is what I should shoot for? 14.7:1 is stoich, so is it good to run that rich? I guess it covers your *** if you are running non-turbo rotors like I will be
Daryl
I've researched the Haltech F5 ECU.. looks like it would work well, however will the 2 - 720cc/min GSL-SE injectors provide enough fuel for running say 6lbs of boost? It will most likely be intercooled as well, holding off detonation by a bit more .
