flaming exhaust

my tail pipe just caught on fire!! WTF?!?!?! I tried the atf trick to try to regain some compression on my dead rear rotor. Let the car run for a while to clear some smoke, then took it out for a test drive. Still no better, and to top it off after a "friend" "fixed" the carb, the car won't idle, and it won't start unless you pour gas in the top of the carb. I stalled coming into the driveway, so I went and got a little gas and poured it into the primaries, and tried to start the car, and saw light behind me, no popping, no audible backfire, just flames!!! I ran around the back of the car, and my tailpipe had flames coming out of it!!! and it hadnt even started, it was sitting there NOT running and had flames coming out of the exhaust. Luckily the fire was put out without any damage, then I very reluctantly tried to start the car again so I could get it the rest of the way in the driveway. It started without any fire this time. WTF?!??!?!

hmm this is a longggg shot but maybe one of the rotors was turned so that it was overlapped perfectly and the gas just dripped right into the exhaust port when you poured it in?

lol just a guess
