Cool

What kind of paint did you use because i painted mine about 18 months ago and they have already chipped off.

They look awsome btw.

I bought some generic trim paint from autozone for like 5 bucks. Hopefully it holds up, ran into some problems putting them back on, kinda pissed. I had my windshield replaced about 3 years ago, well instead of using actaul mounts they just glued the damn trim back on, so i put them back on the best i could and drove to my parents to get it right, (have all the moutns on the other rx7 im junking) and on the way there a semi drove past me and all the air made the 2 top peices fly off, few scratches, sucks, but ill fix it.

I've used that same trim paint before on wiper arms. I think it lasted most of a season. Better surface prep to give it something to stick to would have helped a lot though.

I think I'm going to have IanS powder coat mine. I have them all off of my parts car and have all but the bottom piece sanblasted. I even took off the trim piece above the passenger's door. I know trochoid said he's never been able to get his back on, but I figured I'd give it a try on the parts car and see if I can figure something out.
