hey every one. sorry i was gone for so long. i got down on my car because it stopped running. just to day it started up for the first time in a long time. it makes me happy. the problem it has is some water from the cooling system gets in to the combustion chamber and it refuses to start. the only way i could get it going was to push start it to about 3000 rpm and then it would fire up. it has lots of power and no water in the oil. will a set of seals fix it or do i have to rebuild the whole thing? if i have to do a rebuild then how much will a non turbo 13b swap run? or should i go turbo like i was going to? thanks for any advice.

Do some searches. Also do you have your cold start assist on?

Depending on your engine you could be ok with just a soft seal kit. If I were you, I would go ahead and do the whole thing while it is apart.

13b swaps go for around a grand if you do it all yourself. That is if you get the engine for a steal.

do you know any one i can steal an engine from? LOL. but really, where is the best place to find a 13b in good shape at a good price? if i had to guess i would say that the apex seals and stuff are fine. the car has good power and dose not burn oil except for a little on start up. i think that its probably not the original engine any way. or it has been rebuilt. the car has 175000+ miles on it. how much electrical difference is there between the carb 12a and fi 13b? thanks
