I could store it on my server .. I'm getting pretty damn good with asp so ! ... Editors could have their own sections with usernames and passwords and all I would just need somebody to give me sections and stuff, to figure out how to organise it, and I could code some asp page that generates something cool

that is what i was thinking...get a few of the techies like mantis carl and sterling to answer a few decent e-mails every month...i like the power point format cuz you can flip through pages like a papre magazine...
by the way thats my stripped doen baby in the photo...just waking up from her winter hibernation.
here is an image so you dont have to do the link thing...but the link is a better pic.

you mean me personally? I just have a love for the cars, and the knowledge that comes from owning RX-7s for 7 years of my life.
I read an RX-tuner pre release copy and has to flip through most of it because i just dont care all that much about FCs or FDs...I dont own one...i did have an FD for a while and loved it, but i dont have one any more...and i dont really like the rice attitude that comes with them.
for future articles i was considering some topics we brush by on here...like aerodynamic packages...wheels...TII swaps...turbocharging/supercharging the 12A...suspension...rack and pinnion conversions...and of course have featured cars...
any who thats my idea...i welcome others.

This is a fantastic idea! We definately need something that concentrates on the first gen. Too many magazines out there that include something (though be it minimal) on the first gen have way too much rice in them.

My only question is, with it being strictly an online mag, how is it really going to be different than the pics and info we can find here, other than perhaps better organization? Especially considering it's going to be all of the same people contributing the articles.
I love the idea, don't get me wrong, just not sure it'd present any real benfit to the group.

It's not so much an alternative to this group...why do i have a closet full of porsche mags when i could go to a forum like this one...its always neat to see pics and read articles by people who are doing the same thing as you. Plus i would only like this to be an online mag forever...i hope if intrest is high enough to eventually go into print.

I think you can do more with the mag than on here. Less Q&A and more one persons story, or tech article on a specific topic. But I do think it will need good organizational skills to keep it going on a good track. I'll help out anyway I can.
BTW, linkie no workie. And ditch that heavy *** PVC! Get some thinwall black plastic gutter pipe.

BTW Leif, I forgot to mention there seems to be a pretty good gathering of IT-7 drivers here at Gateway International. Next race is in July, I could probably get a couple of interviews, pics, etc.
