Finally, an OMP solution!!

Did people ever think I DON'T WANT TO RUN PRE-MIX!!
I can't be bothered with all that arsing around with measuring!
That's actually a good safegaurd, I might use that. but it could get slightly annoying when you only have a small amount of oil left and it sloshes around!!

methinks an override switch would be a good idea!

Hook the sensor to the relay and the relay to the fuel pump... No oil and your car goes nowhere. Fool proof way to stop you from forgetting.

measring.. its simple just figure what size your tank is and figure out the ratio fo rthat its even posted a few times allready just run a search. then you know exactly how much to pur in each time you fill up and if you only filling up half a tank then just use hal fthe amoun of oil of a full tank woudl use its freaking SIMPLE!

premixing IS simple. After measuing the first few times now I just guestimate. I always fill-up so it's even easier. I have a funnel with caps on both ends which makes it a pretty clean job too.
I think you should premix AND use the OMP and here's why. Premixing offers the advantage of always lubing the engine but the OMP offers the advantage of adding extra oil during the stress of WOT. I think the ideal setup would be a 2-stroke OMP feed and a mild premix.

But on a freezing cold night - would you really want to stand outside and measure out/guesstimate the amount of oil you need, then carefully pour it into your fuel tank?
If it came to it, I'd simply adjust the OMP to run rich
P.S: As you might've guessed, I'm a bit of a lazy sod as well!

hmmmm.
Probably best if I don't say that stuff again, it's a word which doesn't have one fixed use
sodding is used when cursing an object something:
Sodding telly
sodding car
Sodding piece of junk
sod is usuallyused when cursing a person
stupid sod
ugly sod
lazy sod
It makes sense if you've used it all your life - but probably seems like gibberish to people that have never heard of it

my babysitter (when i was a baby)used it a lot so it doesn't seem like gibberish to me....i think running the reservoir is a better idea than premixing.....why u ask....CUZ MR BIG G SAYS SO

Ive got just a random thought that would be funny, and work good, and require very little electrical knowledge and like no work hardly. Hook up a level sensor that completes a circuit when it gets low. Not one that tells u how much u have like a fuel tank, but one that is either full or empty. From taht run the wires from the battery(with fuse) into it, then from the sensor to your horn. Whenever you get low, ull definately know, as it would set off your horn. Only thing i dunno if would work is would the sensor be able to handle enough energy to set off the horn, if so itd be easier than mounting a whole nother light setup in your car... i think... i have a gsl-se and never really saw the inside of any other ones
