A Few Question
well ive finally moved up in the world of performance after a very long time of restoring cars. but anyways i am about to put an aftermarket holley blue fuel pump on my 7. i was wondering which line i use. there is 2 lines that run into the carb. and dont worry bout the carb because i am adding a weber 45. but do i not use one line or how do i do the straight from the fuel tank to the engine bay? that is where i was wanting to mount the fuel pump. good or bad idea?
my next question is what do i do about adding an efan. i got a dual bladed mr2 fan and i was wondering how do i go about wiring it up. was thinking through a relay BUT where do i relay it from? Where does the power come from?
Last question is after i remove all the emissions crap and add my weber 45 and the Transistor trick how much do i need to adjust my timing on the leading and trailing?
thanks

the 2 lines...one is return and the other is to the carb, you shouldnt have to worry about the return. but just place the new fuel pump inthe stck position. :S....as for everything else.. m not to sure
E-fan mod... there is a right up somewhere.... in the FAQ i think, have a look there.,

You should put the fuel pump in the near stock position. The pump MUST be able to get the fuel to it readily, and putting a pump in the engine bay means a VERY short pump life because you are basically using it to pull the fuel not pump it. zduford was correct with the fuel lines, one of the lines is the return line, which you can block off with the Weber 45dcoe carb because it does not utilize a return. It is also a good idea to rewire your new fuel pump in (the old stock pump wires just don't cut it for a larger pump), I recommend doing it properly, using a properly fused setup using a relay. (I believe summitracing has a fuel pump kit for the wiring)

I have a question. For some reason my car seems to be starving for fuel. I got under the car and checked by the fuel pump and the fuel filter ahd almost nothing in it. I asked my rotaryknowledged friend and he said it should be somewhat full with gas. What should I do? My filter is almost dry and he said it should be half or so full, What should I look to do?

Make sure the lines from the tank are clogged with any rust, ive heard of people getting chunks of the deteriorating fuel tank rust so that it clogs the line. Then replace the fuel filter, and maybe do a flow test to see that the pump is putting out the proper amount of fuel.

could it be the brake booster line? on the factory intake, looking at the engine from the exhaust side, on the left of the intake there is a hose that connects to a line that goes to youjr brake for the power brake unit
