Wow, that looks kinda like a MN plate. And the rust would be consistent with it. YUK, on the wing. I may of seen this car, was it in south Minnepolis near lindale ave?

The picture was slow to load up so I only saw the top half of the car. That was enough, unfortunately.

Thats an 83 LE, and its an old Illinois plate.

I think the picture was from the same guy who made the Beaterz.com website..

I spoke with him before and most of the cars are from the NW suburbs of Chicago, like Schaumburg, IL.

I'd guess its an IL car.......or, since its an old plate......WAS an IL car.

cody's right that is a 83 LE. Man what a loser, the only thing that makes those cars any good are the 14" wheels, and he's replaced them with the 13" alloys. sad to see the fate of so many first gens is **** like that.

Sorry Sean, but that car is most certainly NOT an '83 Limited Edition.
Wrong color, and that's a "GSL" badge on the "B" pillar.
The "Limited Edition" badges are much longer than that.

you sure its a GSL? cause my LE's paint is really faded and looks very similar to that. I know the badges are pretty long, but they sorta look like that. Oh well, maybe its not, i can't tell i guess.

Ok, I'm not condoning the GIANT fin, but at least it's on a rear wheel drive car where it actually does something if you get up to 75+. You absolutely CAN NOT condone that on a front wheel drive car. It's non-sensical.

I know when I put my Erebuni fin on my car, it made a difference so I can't say too much. (it was one designed for the rex, not one of those)

Doesn't look like an IL plate to me.. looks like MN kinda though.. We have blue not green on our plates.. and we didn't have stickers on the sides until recently.. they where long and in the middle.

EDIT: Oh well we do have green, but not on cars.. just trucks.

why don't fwd cars need rear down force ? don't they go round corners at speed ? If wings on front wheel drive cars are pointless why do you see them on front wheel drive race/rally cars built by top racing teams ?

Most wings on road cars are just for the "look" so in my opinion a huge wing on a rwd car is as bad as being on a fwd car
