Okay, I've been called out :-) No I've never used any of CP's product and I'm basing my opinion off of second hand info. but at the prices that CP sells their stuff for, for what you get I will continue to be ignorant of their products.

No I shouldn't have said "crappy product racing" that was wrong considering I've never had any dealings with them first hand.

Angry Do not buy CP racing Flares!!!!

I have the CP flares and I am not happy, but due to their lack of returning emails to disatisfied customers and not having any confidence in getting my money back I have started the process of fitting these flares on my car. Do not buy these flares from CP Racing, they say they are a direct fit, Wrong! None of the flares were marked LF(left front) or RF or RR or RL or nothing. They seem to be all 4 flares from the same mold(how does that work!) These flares are not for bolt on as advertised, they are for molding only, the bolt area is not large enough for a bolt and washer and is not reinforced for that kind of application. It took them 4 months to deliver my flares after I paid them. Do bussiness with them at your own risk. Some people have had good luck working with them, I haven't.

Well, that was very big of you rotor vs. piston!
I can appreciate they have a "colourful" reputation.
I'm a big fan of them myself, but not everyone is. And that's O.K. too.

But I know there are a lot of people who just repeat 2nd or 3d or 4th hand stories about how bad CP is.
I thank you for drawing that line

And if I'm ever down your way in my RX, I'd be happy to show you some of the CP products I own and love

Anyone actually use these? Are they a direct fit, or do they require minor or major reshaping? Hmmmm....

If I can I will keep the car. The day before I got hit I went and got a new holley blue pump, all the fittings, edelbrook carb rebuild kit, edelbrook air cleaner, a couple of new lines, the tap so I can run my omp lines to the rb intake. And a few other things. I have just been to tired and in to much pain to work on it. Maybe in the next wekk I will have a small update.
