I know in other states it's just that the generation is into the FC like you said because of the Fast & the Furious movies but in NYC people are always trying to get me to sell mine well the Puerto Ricans because in PR they work thse first gens like never b4. The young kids in PR that visit here alwas try to get me to sell them the cars that i have owned FB but i dont want to sell. I have an 83 about to get a big overhaul from auto-stick from 12A to 13B streetport GSL SE suspension & tranny the works. So most of the new stuff out there is gonna get a run for the money & I love that my boy who is the one building my motor actually race rotaries & built rotaries in PR he & his Bro have some hard running FB's here people are shocked with the work & the power, Lucky me lol
There is alot of dead 7's in ny.... I have seen one to many. :-(

I dunno, for me its an addiction. I try to get my poor bf to sell his 87 turbo supra on a every day basis so we can buy another 7. And its not like I dont like his supra its pretty damn quick and its fun to drive, but I just love rx7s so much better. The sound, The feel of it... the wonderfull smell of lawnmower I love it all LOL. My fb is sllllooowwwwwww painfully slow compaired to his supra but for some strange reason i would rather drive my fb. I dunno some times I think its a mental illness.... LOL

And on that subject, I need to get out to our local junk yard to see how soem of those things are on there because haynes isnt helping get that last few things on(and some of the things on Hayne's carb were NEVER on mine)

Rebuilding your carb. is not that hard, but it is time consuming. There are alot of little pieces, It made me a little nutty. All in all tho it wasent hard to do. But I had help ofcourse so i didnt mess anything up lol ;-)

theres 5 "dailey driver" FBs in my town, 4 driven by women. 2gsl-se's , 3gsl's. All I've seen is 40year old women driving them, no hot women. But every 7 owner in my town besides me and my buddy know nothing about their cars cause I've talked to everyone of them (it's kind of sad really). BTW I drive a white GSL and a black TII convertible.
