I was just wondering how many female FB owners there might be. I know a few but are there more on this forum? If so, make a post so I can convince my female FB owner friends to join the forum. They think this board is a "guy only thing" so I was curious to see if there were any female owner's.

 

Wife has an 83 LE and a 79, She posts sometimes.

 

i dont know of any on the board, but i see a lady driving and fb in my local city. so...yea, hope that helps

yeah my last girl friend broke up for me because I had a FC T2. I'm sure they're out there but the 7 lovin' girls are definitely hard to find.

i saw a girl driving downtown ann arbor in a really nice silver FB. I had her roll down the window and i asked her what year, it was an 83.

 

Is it considered rude to ask a woman how old her *car* is?

There used to be way many more FB owners of the female gender, somewhere on the order of 50%. Then two things happened that ruined everything:

1. The FBs got old and therefore required more maintenance than they used to.

2. The Miata was introduced, and it required next to no maintenance at all.


We bought another '85 GSL for my wife recently, but I do all of her maintenance so she doesn't feel a need to post.

 

I know there is a few on here, but I don't know how often they're on

 

my girl has a 81 gsl-se she posts o here some times, but its mostly me cause im the one that does the work on my fc and her fb.

 

My wife doesn't get 7s at all, she grew up around muscle cars, as did I, and now wants an SUV. Doesn't get my collection at all........

 

i know of 4 or 5 on here ,one of which is from houston and another that is listed as male in her gender(and im sure there are lots more that one that do that). so what part of houston are you from?

 

There's a lady around here with a GSL-SE and a GSL... at least I think its the same lady. Looks to be around 40ish, give or take 5 years (I'm horrible at guessing ages)

 

I bought my FB off a woman (my aunt). She hadn't driven it in years though, must be the maintenance thing. I'd love to see more girls in FBs though, theres somethin sexy about that.

 

My girlfriend's cousin owns an 84. She got it for $500 and didn't have to do anything to it.

 

I guess I count as a woman. Cant be the only one surely?

My girl is driving my SA right now wile I am rebuilding her FC and types of stuff to it "see sigi" Dont know if that counts ;-) I do all the maintance so she dosent post in tech sections much but knows alot from me. I will show her the thread for u ;-)

She used to hate first gens. But she has my SA and I asked her if she wants to use the GEO Tracker or the SA and she jumped to the SA hehe the 7 cant lose!

Ther is a female PA at the VA hopital here and she has an 85 GLS-SE in mint cond, tried to outrun my 85 with the supercharger and boy was she surprised did not know they made performance parts or had a forum for our cars. SHe is suppose to be joining on here this week.

 

Don't worry you're not completely alone! ^_^ I'm an owner of 3 fb's and contrary to popular opinion I also do my own maintenance. Starting to get into racing. Would be nice to have a larger female population around just to even things out.
