I respect the rex owners who respect their cars.

1st, 2nd, or 3rd, I'll wave at 'em all... I don't particularly like the *look* of second gens, but I'd never go bashing them. Someone must like the look :P

I own a 1st gen, lust over 3rds, and wish I could pop a renesis into my fb... but if I ever see some kid who knows only that his car is "different", I'll tell him what his car is, what it can do, send him here and tell him to stop talking out his *** until he actually learns :P

Hell, I learned, how hard can it be?

I think he means "got beat" literally. Like beaten to the ground and taken away in an ambulance.

And, btw, 3rd gens are incredibly light. CRX's are not sports cars, they are coupes. They dont have the suspension and body strength to handle the ounishment and handling sports car's do. There's no sports car intoduced (according to a Mazda add) in the 90's stock with a power to weight ratio of the 3rd gen 7. If I remember, the Corvette was like 4000 lbs and the 3000gt was like 3800.

vettes are heavy, but if you show me a stock 4000lb corvette I'll eat my pants. Try 32##. 3000GTS are PIGS tho, 3800 is about right for a fully loaded turbo VR4...

and a '95 ZR1 corvette will OWN any stock 3rd gen in a straight line, and probably keep up in the corners. 200lb heavier, yes, but also 140 more ponies to move that 200lb.
