FC fuse block opinions

i have an extra FC fuse block in the shop and i want to put it on my 85 S and was wondering if replacing the fusible links with the FC fuse block is worth while. seems a heck of a lot better and will give me extra fuse ports for future use, such as for an e-fan. what do you guys think of using the FC fuse block?

A lot of people have done it for that exact reason. I say go for it.

I did it on mine and it's most definitely worth it. ReSpeed sells a mounting bracket if you don't want to make one, and the installation is as easy as cutting and soldering 3 wires, then bolting it on.

I highly recommend it.

wishing now that i had the stock FC bracket, lol. i can make one though, no big deal. just seems like a more reliable setup. other than an e-fan what are some other things that can be added to the fuse block?

Definitly got an improvement in voltage on my car which in turn helped my ignition fire better. No more bouncing tach!

I just used the stock bracket and used one of the stock mounting screws/holes on the shock tower.

i may have to fab up a bracket. we'll see friday when i install it. it looks to be simple and i'm excited to get it in. if anyone feels like posting a pic of an FC fuse block on their FB i'd love to see some pics and get some ideas for mounting options!
