FB weight sans drivetrain?
I'm picking up a parts car WITHOUT drivetrain this weekend. Any guesses as to how much it will weigh? I'm needing to use a minitruck to tow it on a car dolly since I traded in my Powersrtoke F250

really? only 60 lbs for the tranny, I expect double that. Its good to know that rotary's only three C's. My last engine swap was an International 345 V8 all 965lbs not to mention the ER visit and CT scan for the pelvic hernia. I lost money on that deal for sure!

love the braaaap
A mini truck would have no problem pulling an RX-7 with drivetrain. I wouldn't worry about it. But the tranny is very light. Have to remember it is a manual too. Manual trannies are generally under 100 lbs. Even the 5 speed behind the 5.0L Rustangs are under 100 lbs.
