FB suspension advice needed
Hey guys
Would u be so kind and give us some suggestions for new suspension for FB ? Friend needs upgrade, but he is looking for cheapest possible stuff. And to have it more complicated, we need to get something whats on market in europe. So please list some models/part numbers of shocks/springs he could use on FB.
Its around 82 year, european model. Should be similar to US models.
Thanks

First, replace idler arm bushings. Cheap and easy. Then go over to polyurethane bushings from the factory rubber ones. Once this is done, if you want more go to a largers sway bar and stiffer shocks and struts....

the cheapest set-up would prob. be suspension techniques springs and kyb shocks/struts.
i'm not a fan of either brand. the second cheapest and imo a much better set up is racing beat springs and tokico non-adjustable shocks/struts.
then idler arm bushings, front sway bar, front sway bar end links, lower control arm, and tension rod poly bushings.
try mazdatrix: http://www.mazdatrix.com/h79-85.htm
they have everything. they are kinda $$, but it may not be worth the effort to save a few bucks on parts if you have to pay international shipping from 2 or 3 different places.
yayarx7. **** breaks are much more frequent, but it is not harsh. (the roads where i live are more like paved cow paths) i love the set-up. it's kinda like driving a big go-cart
