I ran into the problem of my signal speed getting faster and then it went dead.
There is a box, I forget the technical name, maybe someone else know it but that needs to be replaced in my case. -_- Not really much help but it has nothing to do with the fuses.

This might be a good time to learn how to troubleshoot by reading a schematic. Look at the combination switch and the Control Processing Unit that controls the hazards/turn signals.

Here you go. Section 16F page 16:17

I'm working on this same problem right now. Failure of either the flasher unit or the hazard switch can result in blinker/hazard failure. I haven't gotten out the multi tester yet to zero in on the problem but looking at the condition of the back of my hazard switch when I took it out; I'm leaning towards that in my case.

It is more than likely gonna be the control unit that previous posters mention. Mine packed up and this was due to water running through a hole in the scuttle right onto it. The ground had also gone bad on it....you can pop the lid off it once you've removed it from it's mounting position so you'll see any obvious corrosion on the PCB. The multi pin plug is also prone to dry joints and the relay that can be accessed by popping its lid off can also stick or generally lose the will to live. If a liberal dose of electrical contact cleaner doesn't reignite it's passion then don't waste time with it get another it'll only keep messing you about. On a RHD it is up in the drivers footwell, not sure where it'll be for you guys.

Its called the flasher control unit. Its located to the left of the clutch pedal above the speaker. They commonly go bed due to moisture buildup. Replace with a known good unit and all will be well.

Cold solder joints. Easy to fix them with a soldering iron.

Before you get into any of this, check your bulbs and bulb contacts. sometime they might be shorting or opening. I did this today for my left side running lights. I pulled a brake light it looked good so I cleaned the contact , put the bulb in and suddenly all my running lights on the left side were working again. Then disconnect the bulbs and test your +12 s and grounds
