Explain this picture

Is that a 6-port lower intake manifold? It has the actuator mounts I believe....

If so what intake runners are those? I know it's a second gen but what year.

Thanks

Yep.. Probably jb welded the extra ports and make it into a 4 port for the turbo application.

JB weld isn't very good for the rotor and housing when it comes loose and goes through- right?

I doubt anything is good for the rotor and housing when it comes loose and goes through

People seem to do it, and get away with it, like on PP engines. The question is how long it will reliably hold.

6 port engine, with the actuators and sleeves removed. Not complicated.

But where are the fuel injected brake lines? I thought every sweet RX-7 Porsche-wannabes had those.... An I bet the thing has 5/16" Chrome-plated muffler bearings!

OH! I think I can see the flux capacitor in there too!

You are mistaken, sir. That was a cadmium plated Knuder valve setup with triple underlaid variable conecticazoids, linked to cold rolled anodized schmegegi actuators.

I pity you for being so ignorant.

If any of you want to more about it contact J&R Turbo Tech. They are the ones who built the car and yes it is a 6port, they tried to convince me to turbo my SE instead of doing a TII swap. I drove the car in the picture and was surprised at how fast it was, it made 313whp on some dyno in Brampton. the guy who owns it is Tyrone.
Thats all I know bout it folks, thanx 4listenenenen.

I put a boost gauge there in mine also. There was something behind it that lined up with the port on the back of the gauge. I was to lazy to cut it out so I turned the gauge a little bit so that it would clear. I bet he did the same. lol
