1000 years, lost in time.
If you have any pics of the apex seals I'd love to see them. I'm a disty of TuffStuff apex seals in Australia. I'm gathering people's stories about their apex seal failures as, the more info I gather, the easier it becomes for people to spend a little more on virtually unbreakable's. For example: RX3 13BT running the quarter in Australia, putting down 530 to the road, had a major lean out two thirds down the strip due to fuel starvation. The pilot kept the hammer down and managed a sub 9 with a low trap time. When the engine was pulled down, there was a crack in one housing due to heat stress, but the seals hadn't cracked or broken apart. They had bowed under the massive amount of heat, but they held together so there was no secondary turbo damage. So as you can image, the more people that share their stories of seal failures, the better.
Cheers and many thanks!
