emmisions removal, please help!

I'm using this guide http://maz_tutorials.ten15.net/Tutorial_1.pdf
and i'm on page 19 (pdf page 20). What is the 'appropriate hole'?

I'm doing this on an 82' gs and there are also some big differences with this guide giving me problems, example being I don't have another solenoid in front of the secondary operating diaphragm, as well as no trailing vacuum control solenoid valve (green) as seen in this picture https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...hreadid=118577

I feel I'm using the wrong guide, or something else has gone wrong. Can someone point me in the right direction here? I have no idea where anything is supposed to go anymore.

ok, so i had totally missed the hole it's supposed to go into, but found it, back on track except for one thing:

"Notice the locations of the hoses we have now run. Reconnect the saved solenoid to the white plug. Hook the saved hose up to the top of the solenoid to the throttle opener (Note the two different sizes to the hose ends). Run a vacuum line from the first vacuum opening to this solenoid. You can see here that we T’ed this line just next to the solenoid. the other hose going upwards runs to the cruise control."

Where do i find the throttle opener/ what does it look like? Also, I have no cruise control so a I assume I don't need to T that line and can just run it straight, correct?
