Emissions and Exhaust (removal questions)
When i bought my Rex, it came with 2 motors, the original one, with blown apex seals (so very low compression) and one from a newer first gen (also a carbed 12a) with known good compression and no other problems.
now i know i have to swap the wiring harnesses, but i really dont want all that emissions crap on the car (i think this may be called the "rats nest"... its more hassle than i want to deal with, and i'll soon be getting the full RB exhaust, which dosent have a Cat, so it wont be passing emissions anyway.
i also figure, by removing the air pump and going to an electric fan, i free up a little power. So how would i go about removing that stuff... what can i remove, how do i do it.... i'm sure there's a writeup somewhere about how to do it.
