think about this!!!!!
the amount of time we or you guyZ spent talkin about this post is equal to the amount of time each one of you could have opened the damn hood 30 times (about 2 years woth of opening and closing depending on what you have done to your 7.) the more you mess with them the more youll have to pop the hood.
o i have locking hood pins on mine so i eliminated the latch and all.

theres alot more phsycal exertion involved in actually doign it rather than reading abotu it though.

well the only reason i asked is that have seen them on other cars . not electric ones like you guys are thinking ,but more like a little strut . kinda like on the back window . thats all i wanted to know . but thanks for all the smark *** remarks ... you all need to pat your selfs on the back . for helping out a fourm member.
