ecu

My 83' being rats "nestless"(new word?) now, i've back tracked solenoid control wiring to the ecu, which i promptly removed. Also , given from what i can see on the haynes wiring diagram, it appears to be a dead duck anyway. pro's-con's?

I'm not positive what you're asking or what you think is dead?

If you're talking about the ECU, shouldn't be too bad to remove it since you're running no emissions (although I think it would eliminate your A/C too). Rephrase the question to be a little clearer.
