E-brake hate!

I finally got motivated to finish my brake job, and the only thing holding me back has been the e-brake. I searched and thought I had it down, but now looking at it and looking at the hayne's manual I don't have a clue.

I know I need to loosen up the e-brake, but the hayne's manual says, adjust on right side of e-brake? What does that mean? I have the cover off and I don't see anything obvious in there. And on threads I have read on here people have said the e-brake is so simple and obvious that you don't think it would work. I guess I'm too simple.

If so one would just tell me what this bolt looks like, location, or if I need to be inside or outside it would really help me out.

^^^yes. i was going to be the first post but man im slow haha

sit in your drivers seat
look down at your handle with cover removed
on the side facing you passenger seat you should see something. its you can look close enough youll see its the cable coming into a metal piece. you can see a rectangular hollow piece with the cable inside. the piece has two slits in the top. you just have to use a screw driver in the slits. turn it to loosen it or tighten it.

i hope this helps. its not an actual bolt. just look and itll be obvious
