Dual alt pulley. Is it even beneficial for my setup?
My car has one on it from the previous owner. Is it even helping at all? This question might be stupid but it seems like I could easily run a single alt pulley and have the same result. There is an e-fan and no air pump, also no air conditioning. So isn't it only running the alternator? I don't understand how it helps.

I have one on my FB and my FC. I really noticed a difference in cooling in the FB which I use for autox only so I tend to be at higher rpms. If you still had the air pump it would use the second groove on the water pump.

The stock water pump pulley has 2 grooves. The rearmost one is for the belt that goes around the main eccentric shaft pulley, the water pump and the alternator. The front one is for the eccentric/water pump/air pump belt. If you have removed the air pump there is an open groove on both the water pump and eccentric shaft pulleys. That is where the second belt for the dual belt alternator pulley goes.

Do you have pics? That doesn't sound right to me. The yoohoo belt is a small belt the just goes around there main pulley and the water pump. There should still be a longer belt that goes around the main, water pump and alternator pulleys. The yoohoo belt is an alternative to the dual alt pulley. It helps prevent slipping on the water pump pulley.
