Pele you raise a good point, what does make the AE86 better for drifting? There must be something, I find it hard to believe that all the hype around them is simply from Initial D, there is a reason the shows creators chose that car for its main character. What kind of steering do those things have anyone know? Anyone else got any pics of FB's drifting?

i get great 4-wheel drifts almost everyday turning into my work. its about impossible to get into the parking lot inless you haul *** there is so much trafic there. So i just allways use the cars body weight transfer to toss it sideways and not have to slow down to get into the parking lot. you should see the peoples look on their faces. A phat *** controled 4wheel skid acroos the street... You really need to see what I'm talking aboot....

My theory is the way the rear end is set up from the factory. The AE86 uses a four link set up like the first gen but has panhard rod that spans the full length of the axle in stead of the Watt's link. This results in a lower roll center and therfore better turn in and a more predictable/controlable handling.

this one wasnt turboed
and the ae86 is ****** way more stable than an fb cause its meant to well just drive around
the fb is meant to stay in traciton around a corner
its not hard but not as easy thats all im saying
