Please use the Search function located at the top of the menu bar. This question, along with other drift questions, has been asked many times. You'll find the answer you need.

.. Though I agree with the basic sentiment.. I think you guys are just being a lil on the ******* side...
As for you question; find someone who is good at drifting and see if they will teach you how to drift and then go and modify your car. Will be way less expensive and probably won't kill you.

I myself wasn't bashing you, for the record. Since you're new, and apparently a lot of newbies don't know how Forums are laid out, I informed you to use the "Search" function. You're not the only newbie we scold for not using the search function.
Driftlanta is a user on this board who drifts his 7. I've conversed with him about how he has his setup, so look up his posts, see what he's written down. This'll help point you in the right direction. Also note, drifting is not a easy as the movies make it look. It takes a lot of seat time on a secured course.
And, you said "you have what it takes". If that was the case, you wouldn't be asking what you need on your car to drift. I also suggest you watch what you say because a remark like your last one just might get this thread locked and/or you banned.

Driftlanta would be the main man for you to contact with any questions. He's helped me out a bit. As far as the posts thing....no idea what you mean by that unless you mean having thousands of posts.
And, your best way of practicing drift (aside from a designated road course): when it rains, find a huge parking lot with no obscurments or parking barriers in the way and have at it. Start with donuts, then figure eights, and so forth.

A good LSD is really needed, a welded diff is the easiest to drift with. I don't drift, but i have driven friends' drift car. The 12A does not make enough power to drift, you will need to make more power and get a lightweight flywheel with a heavy clutch to get it sideways. Suspension is really important, the stock rear end set up on the fb makes it really hard to slide, you will need a panhard and tri-link. Most people start out with cheap tires for the back and grippy tires for the front (RE-01R, Neova, Azenis, RS2), once you get better, you will need good tires front and rear.

As far as power goes, a turbo will probably be in your best interest. It doesn't have to be huge and running 6 psi should do you just fine.

Man I can't believe you guys ripped on him so bad... Yea his question was very basic, and would probably be better answered on a drifting forum that doesn't mean we need to flame him!
Like everyone said get some crappy rear tires and start playing around in the rain in some secluded area, the rest will come with time....

how to drift your STOCK fb.
1. MAKE SURE YOUR ENGINE IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND YOUR TRANSMISSION AND YOUR REAR AXLE.
2. Get an extra engine, transmission, rear differential + extra half shafts (axles).
3. Get some hard rubber tires, and an extra set of rims (2), by hard I mean cheap rubber, but not too cheap. A guy used to be able to get spring stiffeners for the rear springs, I have seen them on a few parts cars, but too corroded to utilize.
4. Find a place to practice legally, track or permission in a lot.
Drifting a 101hp car is done best with spacesaver spare tires at a track for chits and giggles, I am going to surmise your cars modifications are deep and meaningful, and your of the utmost ability to act responsibly with whatever your going to do.
