the down side of start buttons
so i have my car ready to go...except im still building my headers from a jig i got from a guy who did some work for a mazda factory team in the early 80's...anyway...they are not done and the car is exaustless...ie the engine vents to the engine bay...
so im working on my car...putting the insides back together and i press the start button i installed last month...and bang she starts up...whoa the loudest thing i think i ever heard...

is it alright to start it with nothing on it?
I know what you mean about the noise though. i had to drive mine to the muffler shop with just the header(pretty darn loud!!!!!) on the busiest road in my town. With no insurance OR tag!!! talk about risky.

Yeah, shutup kid.
It's ******* LOUD with no exhaust. But my car is loud as hell even with exhaust After a 10minute drive on the freeway my ears are ringing Now I drive with earplugs.

the downside is that you can accidentily bump it and it will start. At least thats what I got out of it. I'll be interested to see what it sounds like when I fire my project car up with just a manifold.
