Door Gaskets

Who makes the best door gaskets? Are those sold on Ebay any good, or do I need to get them from VB or mazdatrix?

Mine are COMPLEATLY shot and it is loud as hell driving on the highway.

Search on door seals or weatherstrip, theres a few post where folks have talked about the quality of the door seals from various vendors.

I have replaced the door seals on my 85-SE twice in the 13 years I have owned it. 1st time OEM seals. Great fit and easy to install and negligble wind/traffic noize. Just had the car repainted this winter and I replaced the door seals again with a set off e-bay (Rock Auto) and I wound up getting another set of OEM seals to replace them. While the other seals will fit I found too much extra material to try to form fit around the channeled section on the door. With the e-bay seals when I would close the doors the seal would roll back on it's self and come out of the channel it runs through around the window. Installed the new OEM seals and I'm a happy-camper again. Just one owners experience.

Well I have used the e-bay ones in 3 7's and have had no problems. For the first few days I had to shut the door harder than I was use to due to there actually being a gasket there that was not all dried up.

I have the 1AAuto door gaskets that I bought off eBay on the widebody. Quite pleased with them.

If you can't find them on e-bay, Black Dragon (AKA Victoria British) carries new door gasket kits.
