Dizzy leading and trailing linkage numbers

I've looked but can't find a topic on it. I have multiple dizzys from both sa and fb and I noticed the numbers stamped into the linkages. Some have 4.5 on the leading vac linkage and some have 7.5. What (other than the obvious lengths) is the difference and what applications or original uses? And there are both sa and fb dizzys with the 7.5 on hand.
