I'm sure by your build that you do quality stuff but make sure when you try to do it full scale to make some good supports, if you get that thing really creating downforce you'll need good supports to keep them from folding.

Eric, I really like the looks of your car and your setup. The wing will also look good, but aren't you building this car for the street? How fast do you plan on driving down to the the grocery store?
I had my car setup for street driving also, but once you get past a certain practical point, it's not fun to drive on the street and it becomes a drag race car, like mine now.

When you do make it, I would suggest making it adjustable, if only temporarily so you can at least do string vortex test. To make sure it's helping and not hindering.
I guess it would be worth it for someone to get a scale model and actually do a wind tunnel test for different styles/angles of wings. Anyone in?

I got to that certain unpractical point with my old 3rd gen. It became unstreetable once I ran no exhaust, the interior was a tin can and the cage was a nitemare to get in and out of. And, my only tune was with C16 and the only place to fill up was a hour away.
Right now, my 1st gen is relatively quiet and I can fill up with pump fuel almost anywhere and more importantly..... NO CAGE Like I've said before, I'm wanting a pro-street type of car. I'm not sure if many people have those out in california but they have alot of those types of cars here doing sunday cruises etc. etc. Basically tubbed out cars with full interiors and exhausts....

I think you're on the right track Eric. The size/scale of your mock-up looks perfect, just a touch bigger overall than the one on the white car. Google some pro-stock car pics and see if you can tweak the shape for function, but that overall look would kick ***.

oh and they are all pre smog. mostly muscle cars, although there is an anglia or moris minor thats has some big block that takes up the whole car
your car would be really off the wall here
